Old World Stoneworks offers three colors, white, cream and buff. Any product can be made in either color. The most commonly chosen color is white. There is a $250 fee for the White. And a $150 fee for the buff. Our standard color is cream. Our cast stone has a “honed limestone” finish. Sealing is highly recommended since all limestone is porous and subject to staining. Any high quality, clear, matte finish stone sealer may be used.

Old World Stoneworks was fantastic to work with from the design phase through the installation. As a Creative Director for an advertising agency, I am beyond picky– but our cast stone mantle exceeded my expectations. We are local, and the installer that OWSW recommended did a fantastic job with really crisp, even mortar lines where the stone pieces meet and where the mantle meets the sheetrock. I loved being able to customize their design to fit our space. The TV had to be over the fireplace in our living room. But we didn’t want it to be mounted too high on the wall. We were able to shorten the “legs” of the Oxford mantle to ensure a comfortable viewing position while seated. In this age of 3D printers and faux everything, it’s nice to see good old-fashioned craftsmanship and genuine customer service.
