Does your pet rule your household? Other pet-lovers would probably agree that sometimes you design your room around your pet’s needs, whether that is their bed, their basket of toys or stairs to climb onto the couch and onto your lap. Our furry friends are an important part of our lives and our home is just as much theirs as it is ours. In the U.S., 68% of households, or 82.5 million, included at least one pet in 2012, according to the American Pet Products Association, up from 62%, or 72.9 million, in 2010.
