Before and After Project of the Month

The Dimino family loved sitting together around warm fires. But they were tired of looking at the dated fireplace that had dominated the living room for 50 plus years. So they turned to us to update and beautify their surroundings. And if we do say so ourselves, the result of our before and after project has been a huge success.

Let’s take a look at what the Diminos were dealing with.

Before and After

That grouted big stone look dated back to circa 1960. It had to go. A team of skilled workers prepared the surface, making a fresh canvas. Now the Diminos could upgrade to our popular cast stone Amhurst mantel.

Our Amhurst fireplace mantel is a big crowd pleaser. It comes in 36, 42 and 48 inch models, but can be adapted to fit various firebox heights. The Amhurst’s French-country charm looks good with almost any décor. Whenever you have guests over, all eyes will be on the Amhurst!

As you can see, their new mantel was up in-time for Christmas. Accented with gold candles and mini pine trees, it’s a beautiful addition to their home. Their Christmas guests surely enjoyed the new fireplace surround, and were relieved not to spend another holiday with that stone relic of the past!

The Diminos opted to extend the charm all the way up to the ceiling with our gorgeous #10 overmantel. This angular addition mixes elegance with a warm homey vibe. It measures 50 inches tall by 49 inches wide at its widest part but we can adapted to fit various fireplace widths and heights.
