After discussing the mantel or range hood you have selected from our line, we will email you a scale drawing with your own unique dimensions and a no obligation quote including shipping cost. As an additional option, we have a custom quote form listed below that you can submit to us for a quote or to help you when taking measurements prior to calling.
Once you have a quote we ask that you sign it and email or fax it to us along with a copy of the deposit check (at least 50%) and we will start the process to produce your mantel or range hood. Then mail us the hard copy of the deposit check and signed quote. We can also accept credit cards over the phone. Production takes about 4 to 6 weeks.
If you do not find what you are looking for from our line, we will be happy to give you a quote on your own custom design. Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required to begin production. The balance is due in full before shipment. However, if you prefer, we can ship the order C.O.D. but please be aware that the freight company adds an additional 5.7% of the total balance. Any changes made after an order has been placed are subject to additional fees. If an order is cancelled after production has begun, it is subject to a 30% restocking fee. All returned checks are subject to a $25.00 service charge.
Production Time
Allow 4 to 6 weeks for production. Please let us know if you are in a rush and we will do whatever we can to accommodate your time frame.
Delivery
Our products are manufactured in Dallas, Texas and shipped by common carrier to almost everywhere in the continental United States. We always ask that the trucking company use a lift gated truck for delivery, but this is not always possible, so please have two or three men ready to unload from the trucker’s tailgate. In rare cases where the location is remote or in residential areas that do not allow large trucks the customer may have to arrange secondary delivery. If you are not ready for shipment from our factory at the date specified on your invoice, we can hold your order up to four weeks provided the order is paid in full.
Damages In Shipment
All claims on apparent or concealed shipping damage must be reported to Old World Stoneworks within seven days of delivery. We will replace any broken stones at no charge usually within 7-10 days. Save all broken stones and all packaging material so we can make a claim with the freight company.
Warranty
Old World Stoneworks products are warranted to be free from defect, except those color variations typical to cast stone. Any defective products will be replaced. Freight rates are determined to insure safe delivery and the best service. You may opt to find alternative freight accommodations, however, Old World Stoneworks does not warrant the stone once it is picked up from the factory.
